Tired of flipping over EVERY single bar at the health food store wondering if its actually “good” for you and whether or not those fats or carbs or proteins are really right or healthy?! I FEEL YOU and actually ran into this problem last week when I was STARVING, forgot my food and had to stopped at the store to grab some BCAAs---- I was STUCK and ended up not getting anything because I was LOST! SO to avoid this, I put together these “healthier” protein bars that I made from scratch and took like 20 minutes to prepare {YES… they need to refrigerate overnight or for at least 3 hours so plan ahead}.
Crunchy Cafe Latte Vanilla ALL NATURAL Peanut Butter Protein Bars
{obviously not all these ingredients are all natural but YOU can take it to whatever level you want}
INGREDIENTS
- 2 scoops Café Latte Shakeology (or protein of choice--- contact me in you would like to try Shakeology for FREE)
- 1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology (or protein of choice)
- 2 C. oats (I used instant oats)
- 1 C. back to Nature Sprout and Shine Cereal
- 1 C. coconut milk (unsweetened)
- 1/2 C. natural creamy peanut butter
- 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
- 1 tsp. Cocoa Powder
- 1 Tbsp. Stevia
DIRECTIONS:
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Press into an 8×8 pan. Chill for at least 3 hours. Cut into 12 pieces.
TIP TIP TIP-------- portion control! Just like anything else, you can’t eat the whole thing because its “healthier”. Be cautious of your intake and enjoy it!
